"You will ALWAYS be to me the man with the magic hands!!!
I remember how much pain I was in and you made me feel better so quickly!!!"

"Kevin's help has saved me from knee surgery and helped me to continue playing soccer and gaelic football regularly.
In my late 30s I developed chondromalacia patella, also known as "runner's knee", from regular training and matches I was doing on the hard CIS, Annex and Ed Bush astro pitches, which are unforgiving on the joints.
"Runner's knee" is damage to the cartilage beneath the knee-cap caused by the knee-cap not tracking precisely in the appropriate groove in the knee (known as "mal-tracking"), and so wearing away cartilage. This caused a lot of pain and it got to a stage where I had to sit out sport for weeks and months, and then take pain-killers if I did want to play. I was even in pain walking up stairs - which as a (relatively) young man and young Dad was even more worrying!
I visited an esteemed knee surgeon, who suggested keyhole surgery to smooth out and remove offending cartilage. Whilst this would address the pain, it would mean cartilage was removed and I would have months of physio exercises to get back. We decided we would only go down this route as a last resort.
I went to a different physiotherapist for a number of months with no tangible result. Thoroughly depressed with the situation, I went to Kevin. I'm extremely glad I did. Through a combination of intense, targeted massage, Kevin was able to release the pressure and get my knee-cap tracking properly again. This initial treatment, combined with a simple stretch Kevin shared with me and yoga 2-3 times a week has meant that I've been able to go back to a relatively full training regime - without anti-inflammatories.
Getting back playing sport again has been fantastic; not just for the fun of it and meeting people, but also because it makes a huge difference to my overall health. I'm grateful to Kevin for the part he has played in that."

"Kevin is a life saver. After many years of physiotherapy to treat a very painful hip problem, I was referred to Kevin, by another physio. Within 3 to 4 sessions, he had resolved my problem without ever touching my hip. After evaluating and assessing me thoroughly, he went straight to my spine. Using spinal manipulations and some deep tissue work, he released the nerve that was causing the pain. I have been pain free in that area for about 4 years now. I continue to see him periodically for low back pain and he always gets me back on track within a few sessions. I can't begin to describe how much he has improved my quality of life.
Kevin listens very closely to the patient, evaluates their alignment, posture, movement etc and individualizes the treatment plan for each patient. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a physiotherapist. "

“My back injury in 99 caused me to become a regular at physio. Sometimes going several times a year between 12-16 weeks twice a week when my sciatica flared up. I met Kevin 5 years ago and it was like an enlightenment! He not only rehabilitated me during that flare up quicker than ever before but he gave me the tools and exercises I needed to assist with self healing while he worked his magic! His treatment plans are not only effective but he educated me more on the mechanics of the body and I didn’t have to spend hours being hooked up to physio machines for weeks. I now live the active life I’ve always dreamed of and feel stronger. Thank you Kevin!”
