He nurtures his sports enthusiasm by swimming, going to the gym, practicing yoga and playing golf to continually improve his single-figure handicap. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time at the beach with his family and chocolate lab, Hershey.

Alix is dedicated to her patients and is available by appointment in the clinic, for home visits and in-patient consultations.

When she is not helping her patients return to full function, Alix enjoys running and building sandcastles on the beautiful Seven Mile Beach with her daughter.

Kelly Smith,
BSc (Hons), CPAM, HPCSA

Kelly graduated from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2018. She then completed her community service year in 2019 in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, working at Settlers Hospital where she managed a variety of inpatient and outpatient cases, including post-op rehabilitation, neuromuscular injuries, sports injuries, and pediatric developmental delays and disabilities.

Kelly continues to expand her knowledge and skillset by completing online and practical courses in physiotherapy, including completing her Dry Needling certification, courses in specialized shoulder pain in the sportsperson, courses in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and COVID-19 courses for healthcare professionals. Kelly also has a variety of experience in both the public and private sector in South Africa, treating complex cases in surgical, medical, ICU and COVID wards as well as in outpatient private practices.

Having played field hockey and water polo at provincial level and rhythmic gymnastics at a national level, Kelly has a deep love for everything exercise- and sports-related. Her first-hand experience with the impact that a talented physiotherapist can have on an athlete’s performance is what initially sparked her deep passion for physiotherapy. As a life-long athlete, she had numerous experiences with physiotherapists as a patient herself and uses that insight of the physical and mental challenges that sportspersons experience to provide a holistic approach to her patient care.

Kelly also has an immense love for the outdoors, whether it is hiking or a beach day, especially with friends and family. In her free time, you’ll find Kelly playing sports or enjoying the stunning beaches of Cayman.
